Default How much time answer of support?!

In 2008, ive played a trial of Guild Wars. Only now, ive decided to buy a Guild Wars Trilogy key. Received, added to this old account, but i did not know of this new security, that they request a character name (I think this is a not necessary security ). Well, I cant remember of a character
Sent a ticket to the support, 3 days ago, and so far, no response.
How long it usually takes to respond?
Thanks in advance!

1. It is definitely necessary, it probably stopped a lot of hacks.
2. 3 days ago was the weekend, I'd give it some more time.

Thansk for the reply... Like I said, played on 2008, no hacks in this time... You, who keep playing, you should know the problems the game faced during those two years. It is not I who should say that the game does not need such security. You're right.
I'll give a few more days for them, I hope they respond.

usually you would get an automated response within the first 24-48 hours. After that...it all depends on what they need to do, what they need from you, etc.

Have you received the automated email yet?

Yeah, received the automated response in the same day I sent the ticket. If you think that the time it is taking is normal, then fine, just wanted to make sure it's normal take a few days, I am more relaxed.
Thanks.

does the automated email ask you to give them any information? If so they could be waiting on that from you (they will probably ask for some stuff to identify you as you as well as stuff from the game like keys or receipts).

No, the support site already have a model to this question:

Here is my account information:
Guild Wars e-mail/login name:
First and last name:
Date of birth:
Your 25-Digit Guild Wars Access Keys:

Just folowed that model, and explained the situation.
In the automated e-mail, they only sent this:

We received your support request. To add additional information, reply to this e-mail and include any new information between the green lines below.

**** Please enter your reply *below* this line ****

**** Please enter your reply *above* this line ****

I just sent a reply with "nothing to add" below the lines:

**** Please enter your reply *below* this line ****

**** Please enter your reply *above* this line ****

This was like, 10 min ago... And they already reply me with the name of the character!
I thought it was unnecessary to insert anything between the lines, because there was no further information to add.

Thanks to all!
See all in game
